The Wheatland School District is hosting its 21st Annual Summer School Camp!  "Campers" engage in hands-on activities that are both educational and fun. There will be a mix of academic and enrichment activities provided by certificated teachers and para-educators. 
 
Priority enrollment will be given to students who qualify under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act and Foster Youth as well as families' free and reduced priced meals status. Space is limited and students are enrolled in program on a first come, first served basis once priority order has been applied.
 
2023 enrollment forms for the Summer on-campus program will be here once open enrollment begins.  The camp will be open June 12-30th (closed for the June 19th holiday). More information will be coming soon.

Theme: Science Adventure (chosen by student votes)
 

When: Monday through Fridays (Closed on Monday, June 19th), June12 - 30th; 7:30AM-4:30PM

Where: Lone Tree School on Beale AFB  (Camp Office is Room 35; Phone: 530-788-7342)

Transportation: Bus transportation is available to and from Wheatland

Food: Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are free! 

6-8th Graders: Leadership opportunities to be a Camp Counselor (optional)!

Eligibility:  Children must be currently enrolled in a Wheatland School District school (i.e. attend Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade in the 2022-2023 school year).  Priority enrollment will be given to students who qualify under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, Foster Youth and free/reduced-priced meals under the Federal FRPM form.  Space is limited and students are enrolled in the program on a first come, first served basis once priority order has been applied. 

Cost:  No cost for the Camp program. 

For "Campers" that were enrolled during the open enrollment period, a Camp Confirmation Packet will be sent home with your child via their school day teacher during the last week of May.
