The Wheatland School District is hosting its 16th Annual Summer School Camp! "Campers" engage in hands-on activities that are both educational and fun.
Theme: Under The Sea (chosen by student votes)
When: Monday, June 12th through Friday, June 30th; Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Where: Lone Tree School on Beale Air Force Base
Transportation: Bus transportation is available to and from Wheatland (Bus arrives at Camp at approximately 7:45 a.m. and departs Camp at 4:15 p.m.).
Food: Breakfast and an afternoon snack is free! Lunch will be available for purchase (just like during the school year).
6-8th Graders: Leadership opportunities to be a Camp Counselor!
Open Enrollment APRIL 24 THROUGH MAY 19, 2017: The Camp enrollment packets will be distributed via students' classroom teachers. Packets may also be found at the school, after school, and district offices on or after April 24, 2017. Confirmation packets are sent home with students in late May and Early June.
Eligibility: Children must be currently enrolled in a Wheatland School District school (i.e. attend Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade in the 2016-2017 school year). Children must have turned 5 years old by December 2, 2016.
Cost: $175 per child, which is less than $12 per day! Make checks payable to: WSD After School Program or pay at www.myschoolbucks.com under the "Afterschool" header. Enrollment for Camp is on a first come, first serve basis with full payment. Fees are not refundable. Scholarships are available.
